Voucher Warehouse – Terms and Conditions of the Shopping Voucher

- The voucher you have selected to purchase will be activated with a South African Rand value amount and reflect on the receipt. You can choose a voucher amount as reflected on the Voucher Warehouse website.
- You may choose to purchase in separate multiple amounts. Voucher Warehouse reserves the right to limit the number of Vouchers you may purchase.
- When your order has been completed successfully, the Shopping Voucher Number will be displayed on your device’s screen, and a Shopping Voucher email will be sent to your email address.
- You can use your Voucher at any of the retail supermarket outlets conducted by Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd, including Shoprite, Shoprite Hyper, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores. However, you cannot draw cash from your Voucher.
- The bearer of the Voucher will be deemed to be the bona fide owner of such Voucher.
- The “Consumer Protection Act” legislates a validity period of three years for a shopping Voucher. Your Voucher will not expire until the full value is redeemed or a date three years after the date of issue, whichever is the earlier. The Voucher will be non-redeemable on the expiry date.
- You will not be sent any correspondence or statements other than the Voucher purchase transaction reflecting on your Voucher Warehouse Card Transaction report.
- You will not be able to use the Voucher to purchase goods or services over the telephone or Internet.
- When you use your Voucher, you must sign a transaction slip. When you use your Voucher, the transaction will be processed against your available Voucher balance.
- No warranties, purchase protection, insurance, other promises or services are provided. Once you have paid, you cannot stop payment of the transaction. You are responsible for keeping track of the transactions on your Voucher.
- The Voucher will not have a PIN.
- You will not be charged transaction fees for using the Voucher within the Shoprite retail supermarket outlets (as specified under clause 2 above) and you will not be paid interest on funds in the Voucher.
- If you lose your printed Voucher or if it is stolen, you will lose all funds in your Voucher. Contact info@voucherwarehouse.co.za as soon as possible.
- This Voucher may not be refunded or exchanged for cash or credit at any of the shopping retail outlets as specified under clause 2 above.
- Voucher Warehouse may change these terms & conditions without giving you notice. You may not change these terms & conditions.
Customer Copy: How to use
1 At all times you enjoy the following:
1.1 Free debit transactions when the Voucher is used at the retail supermarket stores (as reflected under the Terms and Conditions Clause 2 above);
1.2 The Voucher works in a similar way to a debit Voucher;
1.3 Using your Voucher is safer and more convenient than carrying cash;
1.4 You can easily track your transactions, as the details are on your transaction receipts;
1.5 Payment comes off your Voucher immediately, preventing you from overdrawing your Voucher for your protection;
1.6 The “Consumer Protection Act” legislates a validity period of three years for your shopping Voucher. Your Voucher will not expire until the full value is redeemed or a date three years after the date of issue, whichever is the earlier;
1.7 Verify the last 4 digits of your Voucher against this slip before accepting the shopping receipt slip;
1.8 The Voucher cannot be used at an ATM or bank teller. It can only be used at in-store electronic terminals;
1.9 Safeguard your Voucher;
1.10 After every purchase, make sure you get your Voucher back; and
1.11 Destroy your Voucher as soon as it expires.
